1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Reunite ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Reunite platform at myreuniteapp.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
By creating a reunion as an organizer, you explicitly agree to these Terms and acknowledge that you have read and understood them. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of any updates to these Terms.
2. What Reunite Is
Reunite is a software platform that enables high school reunion organizers ("Organizers") to create and manage reunion event pages, collect RSVPs, process ticket payments, manage fundraising, coordinate sponsors, and communicate with classmates ("Members"). Reunite is a technology platform only — we do not organize, host, or operate any reunion events.
Important: Reunite is not a party to any agreement between Organizers and Members. We are not responsible for the planning, execution, safety, or outcome of any reunion event.
3. Account Registration
Organizer Accounts
To create a reunion page, you must register as an Organizer. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Be at least 18 years of age
Member Accounts
Members who RSVP to reunion events agree to provide accurate contact information and honor any ticket purchases or donation commitments made through the Platform.
4. Organizer Responsibilities
As an Organizer, you are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of all information published on your reunion page
- Planning, organizing, and executing your reunion event
- Complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
- Obtaining any necessary permits, licenses, or insurance for your event
- Communicating event changes, cancellations, or refunds to your attendees
- Handling attendee disputes, complaints, and refund requests
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of event attendees
- Only uploading content (logos, photos) that you have the right to use
Reunite is a tool to help you organize — the event itself is entirely your responsibility.
5. Payments, Fees & Refunds
Payment Processing
All payments on the Platform are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making or receiving payments through Reunite, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Platform Fee
Reunite charges a platform fee of 3% on ticket sales and other payments processed through the Platform. This fee is automatically deducted at the time of payment. Organizers acknowledge and agree to this fee when creating a reunion.
Stripe Processing Fees
Standard Stripe processing fees (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) apply in addition to the Reunite platform fee and are deducted from each transaction.
Refunds
Reunite does not issue refunds for ticket purchases. Refund decisions are made solely by the Organizer. If you believe you are owed a refund, contact the event Organizer directly. Reunite platform fees are non-refundable.
Fundraising & Donations
Donations made through the Platform are contributions to the reunion's fundraising goal as set by the Organizer. Reunite does not guarantee how donated funds will be used. All fundraising decisions are the sole responsibility of the Organizer.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Provide false or misleading information about yourself or your event
- Impersonate any person or organization
- Create reunion pages for events you do not intend to organize
- Collect payments for events you cancel without issuing refunds
